How White Smile Works

Phthalimidoperoxycaproic acid is an advanced whitening agent, popularly known as PAP which does not present the common side effects associated with Hydrogen Peroxide whitening agents.

Unlike other traditional whitening products, it does not produce free radicals which can destroy tooth enamel and gum tissue. It works through soft oxidation of stains such as coffee, tea and red wine and is generally safer for those with sensitive teeth or gums.

What is Whitesmile PAP?

“PAP”, short for Phthalimido-peroxy-caproic acid, is a mild whitening ingredient used in strips, toothpaste, kits, and more. Unlike hydrogen peroxide, PAP doesn’t release free radicals, reducing irritation to gums.

At 15% concentration, Whitesmile PAP is more effective than other PAP products on the market. Our research suggests that Whitesmile 15% PAP produces similar results to 4% Hydrogen Peroxide.
